Sometimes it seems our biggest messes get carried around in our car. Mystery spills, crumbs, dirt, fingerprints, you name it. I’ve found few ways to incorporate essential oils into my car maintenance routine and you guys, they are game changers.
A few weeks ago I went to load a couple of things in the back of my car and noticed it was filthy. Instantly “crazy mom” took over and I spent the next THREE hours scrubbing, vacuuming, and bossing my kids around. So there went my morning, but man… this car feels like NEW. I was having trouble getting some nasty spots off the leather and, since I was at my mother-in-law’s house, all I had were her cleaning supplies. Nothing was doing the trick! So I rummage through her oils and found wild orange and lemon. Seriously, a few drops and a wet rag worked better than ten different cleaners I tried! Citrus wins.
Another great tip: if you’re washing your car yourself, try a chemical-free soap and essential oils in a bucket of water, a little elbow grease and voila, sparkling clean car.
