DIY Hand Cleanser

Oh, fall. The crisp weather, changing leaves, holidays—I love it all! But you know what I don’t love? All of those back to school germs that get passed around every year. Ick. It’s hard work keeping your family healthy and it seems to get even harder this time of year.

The good news is that there is so much you can do to protect your loved ones. You just need the right tools! That’s why I love using oils in my home. They provide a stellar way to support and strengthen our immune systems.

Here’s a great DIY recipe to keep the bugs at bay! And I don’t know about you, but I’ve read one too many articles on the dangers of Purell and other market hand sanitizers that are passed around elementary school classrooms like crazy. I’m not a fan. I’d much rather opt for a natural (and safe!) alternative.

Ingredients:

25 drops Melaleuca, 10 drops lemon, 1T fractionated coconut oil, 1T aloe vera gel, water, 15 ml spray bottle.

Directions: Fill the spray bottle half full with water. Add in the essential oils, coconut oil, and aloe vera. Add more water to the bottle until it’s full… insert lid, and shake. Spray on your hands and wave bye-bye to nasty bugs.
